Day visits

We accept a few day visitors to the campsite between 9 am and 7 pm if they have have booked in advance. Public access to the road laybys by the lake is free but we charge for boat launching there payable at the campsite.  Use the button below to book a day visit, but note:

• Only one car per booking and up to 8 people per car
• Charge is per adult or child, under 4 years old are free
• A booking fee of £5 will be charged as well as a charge for car parking
• No dogs are allowed for day visits please do not bring them
• No trailers but if paddleboards or kayaks can be brought inside or on the roof of your car, they can be launched for free
• Bookings are for a single day: use our Bookings page to stay the night
• Payment is required on booking see our Prices page, a confirmation email will be sent.
• Day visitors can use all campsite facilities: toilets, showers, boat hire, shop and food outlets at no charge
• Out of the main season be aware boat hire may not be open, check on our Boat hire page.

On arrival register at reception then park by the camping fields. Display the ticket you receive on check-in in your car and adhere to our rules: no music or loud noise, no fires on the grass, be respectful to others and keep the site tidy.  We hope you enjoy your visit.
CANCELLATION policy: we require one week, 7 days, notice to refund a day visit so take care to book correctly
