Campsite map

This map shows camping fields, bookable bays, group areas and key facilities at Llyn Gwynant Campsite.

The camping fields do not have marked pitches as they are open green fields scattered with small woodlands, where campers with unallocated tent bookings find a pitch to suit themselves on a first in first served basis. Field names are shown in grey. Pen Helen is bordered by lake and river with vehicle bays along the hedgerow and the Boat hire area on the riverside. Bridge field at the back of the site is for tents with a few vehicle bays on hard standing in winter on the car park. Pen Ddôl (top of the meadow) is the other side of this hedgerow with EHU tent bays for large tents by the hedgerow and walking access to Bridge field. Ddôl Fawr (large meadow) is for unallocated tents and has the dog walking area beside. Ddôl Fach (small meadow) is a sheltered field near reception with EHU bays in the hedgerow for small vans or roof or trailer tents.  See Campsite facilities for details of the Reception building which also houses our shop. Cegin (Kitchen) is the food outlet opposite some picnic tables selling breakfasts, lunch and bbq packs in the day, and pizzas or pies in the evening see Food and Drink for more.
