Kayaks hired at Llyn Gwynant Campsite are shown paddling in the Afon Glaslyn river

Llyn Gwynant Campsite has a Boat hire jetty where kayaks, both single and double as well as Canadian canoes are hired out by the hour, see our Boat hire page for details. Here we see two Canadian canoes rafted together that can be hired by groups, as well as a single kayak, all paddling in the Afon Glaslyn river close to the Boat hire jetty. People who are inexperienced at paddling can start in the river and only venture onto the lake once they have sufficient experience and control of their craft. Instruction in paddling is only available by advance arrangement, see details on our Adventure activities page.
