Terms and Conditions for groups

  • Group leader: One person is our contact, responsible for group behaviour and pays deposit/bond
  • Group bond: any group of more than 4 adults pays a bond: either £20 per adult for an unbooked group or £300 for 10 – 20 people booking a group area. Larger groups pay more.
  • A Group booking form must be provided us on arrival of any booked group, you can download from our Groups page. This will lists all group members including family numbers if appropriate.
  • Groups of more than 20 adults pay an increased deposit/bond and pay camping fees in advance
  • No group area is is booked until the £305 (£300 deposit/bond plus £5 booking fee) is paid.
  • Terms and conditions for the bond refund are that behaviour has been good, warden instructions obeyed and all campers treated with respect; no radios or stereos used at any time and quiet talking only after 11 pm; no damage to grass or our property, and the group pitch left tidy with rubbish and recycling in appropriate bins; See our campsite rules for more detail.
  • Refunds of £20 per person for unbooked groups is given as they leave; the £300 bond for booked groups is returned via internet transfer or Paypal refund within 10 days of the group departure.
  • Fires: use only wood bought from us and only one firepit per group with at most 3 bags wood per night. Wardens may check your campsite pitch before you leave.

Conditions on bookings

First look at our Group areas map and identify the area you wish to book. You then need to contact us and give us details see our Group bookings page for how to make a as we do not accept these online. Please note:

  • No group area is is booked until the £300 bond plus £5 booking fee is received.
  • Group area bookings must be for at least 2 nights, 3 on bank holidays.
  • Cancellations must be received more than 2 weeks before arrival for the group area deposit to be refunded.

Camping fees, arrival and departure

  • Camping fees may be paid in advance or on arrival. If fees are invoiced then they must be paid at least 2 weeks before arrival. Groups of up to 20 people must pay together at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • If fewer than 10 adults use a booked group area part of the deposit may be withheld.

  • For booked groups arrival is after 2 pm and departure by 11 am; unbooked groups arrive after midday and depart by 2.00 pm.
