Free Stargazing Event at Llyn Gwynant Barns

Join us for a free evening of stargazing, warming food and a planetarium experience at Llyn Gwynant Barns.

Open to all ages, from budding astronomers to those who simply appreciate the curious magic of a starry sky, Llyn Gwynant Barns is hosting an astronomy evening with Dark Sky Wales.

The event takes places on Wednesday 26th April, starting at 6:30pm and is free for a maximum of 40 guests.

Otters: please move to Llyn Gwynant!

The number of otters inhabiting the Llyn Gwynant waters will hopefully be on the rise with a bit of help from our new otter holt.

A special home has been constructed for otters near Llyn Gwynant, built by our staff out of 100% natural waste  materials. Using left-over timber and brash from recent tree maintenance, this secretly intricate structure was created as an appealing abode for a family.

Boat hire closed till Easter 2017

All the boats at the Boat hire centre on the campsite are now put away… so Boat hire is closed. We re-open in Easter 2017 and availability during the Spring will depend on how kind the weather is.
