Llyn Gwynant site plan

This map shows Reception, area where Pizzas and breakfasts are served, Boat hire area and woodland where dogs can be walked. Camping field names are shown as well as group areas (bright green see Group areas page) and areas for motorhomes, caravans and small campervans, (see Vans and hookups page). The lake shore is for everyone so no camping or vehicles are allowed in front of white marker posts here. Campers wanting more seclusion can park and walk to Bridge field, others can simply drive to their area of choice, though cars are separated from their pitch by stones in Pen Helen and most other places. Toilets and washing up areas are by Reception with a small toilet block near Bridge field carpark open in high season. Water and fire points are throughout the site. Details of the camping fields:

Pen Helen: The most popular field bordered by lake and river has two areas sometimes booked by groups. Caravans are only allowed in this field, see Vans and hookups.

Bridge field: beyond Pen Helen by the river is for tents only, no cars allowed. Two car parks are available, and two group areas may be booked.

Pen Ddôl (top of the meadow) has separated parking and camping, with walking access to Bridge field.

Ddôl Fawr (large meadow) can have vehicles in certain areas in dry weather, but no caravans. A small woodland can accommodate hammocks and wild camping by arrangement and two group areas may be booked.

Ddôl Fach (small meadow) is sheltered and near reception with bays under hedgerow for small campervans or trailer tents, 6 with electric hookups, see see Vans and hookups
